SAFETY AND OPERATION

For impact load only: Cr-Mo alloy is specially designed for use with impact wrenches. Do not use regular (Cr-V) sockets for impact use — this is a risk of breakage.

Fixing on the tool: Be sure to use a retaining ring or pin (in the square drive hole) to prevent the socket from flying off during rotation.

Protective equipment: Work with gloves and safety glasses. Impact tools create high vibrations and can scatter small fragments.

Wear control: Regularly check the working edges for cracks or wear. If the socket "strips" or "rounds off" — replace it immediately.

Correct size: Never use a socket that does not match the size of the nut. This will lead to rounding off or stripping of the fastener.
