The QS14187P M16×1.5 Thread Repair Kit is a professional kit for workshops that repair damaged, medium to large diameter threaded holes. This kit contains everything you need: a drill bit for reaming the hole, a tap for cutting new threads, an insert setting tool, a shank breaking tool, and 10 stainless steel wire inserts.
Stripped M16×1.5 threads are often found in suspension mounts, glow plug holes, plugs, and other critical connections. Replacing the entire part can be expensive. The QS14187P completely solves this problem: the hole is reamed, a new thread is cut, and a wire insert is screwed into it, restoring the original M16×1.5 size.
