The VW 2.5 TDI PD Timing Tool Set QS10617 is a specialized solution for workshops servicing Volkswagen commercial vehicles. This set is designed for the 2.5 R5 TDI PD diesel engines (codes AXD, AXE, BAC, BLJ, BLK, BPD, BPC, BPE) that were installed on the Transporter V, Multivan V and Touareg. The set contains 7 tools for a complete cycle of timing work.

An error when setting the 2.5 TDI PD phases without this set often leads to incorrect installation of the gears, failure of the valve timing phases and serious engine damage. The QS10617 tools completely solve this problem: two types of camshaft locking tools T10193 and T10194 ensure precise fixation, the T10199 gear holders securely lock the sprockets, and the T10234 pre-tensioning tool guarantees correct installation of the compensation gear.
