The M14×1.5 thread repair kit QS14187L is a professional kit for workshops that perform restoration of damaged large-diameter threaded holes. This set includes everything you need: a drill bit for drilling a hole, a tap for cutting a new thread, an insert installation tool, a shank break-off tool and 10 stainless steel wire inserts.

A stripped M14×1.5 thread is often found in chassis component fasteners, brake calipers, engine mounts and other critical components. Replacing the entire part can be expensive. The QS14187L completely solves this problem: the hole is drilled out, a new thread is cut, into which a wire insert is screwed, restoring the original M14×1.5 size.
