The QS14187D M10×1.0 Thread Repair Kit is a professional kit for workshops that repair damaged medium-diameter, fine-pitch threaded holes. This thread repair kit contains everything you need: a drill bit for reaming the hole, a tap for cutting new threads, an insert installation tool, a shank break-off tool, and 10 stainless steel wire inserts.

Stripped M10×1.0 threads are often found in engine component mounts, transmissions, brake systems, as well as in threaded holes in brackets and other critical components. Replacing the entire part can be expensive. The QS14187D completely solves this problem: the hole is reamed, a new thread is cut, into which a wire insert is screwed, restoring the original M10×1.0 size.
